Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The school offers great academic opportunities. Those who take full advantage of those opportunities will succeed at this school.Once you've decided on a certain major, it's best to take as many major classes as possible because most internships look for students.

    Course highlights:

There are many professors in the program that are more than willing to support the students. Many opportunities to learn more and grow as individuals are provided to students. However, there is a lot of competition.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although Greek students do not any special housing, there are many different sororities and fraternities available for students to rush for. Many students appreciate the affordability of rushing at UCSD.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

So far, I love this university. I like to party and the fact that I love being here even though there's no parties ever, means something. It's so inclusive and everyone here is courteous. There's always something going on for students to participate in.

    Course highlights:

It's overall such a great school to attend, even more if the student lives on campus. It is very difficult as a biology major. Classes require a lot of work and is demanding as a UC school. GE requirements do not seem to be fairly distributed in terms of difficultly among all the colleges.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are so many resources here for students to ensure that students are doing well in classes and doing well mentally. Overall the school is nice. People are friendly. Most classes are challenging but not impossible.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

What I foremost like about living off-campus is that it saved a good portion of money--if I had chosen to live on-campus, I most likely would have had to take out loans. As far as I know, the girls I have met are outgoing, and are extremely capable of balancing their social life and academic life.

    Course highlights:

One con about living off-campus (specifically since I am a freshman) is that it is definitely harder to make friends right away, since dorming immediately puts people together in the sort of "we're all new to college" situation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I enjoy having room with having a full kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, as opposed to the small dorms. In addition, my apartment is located conveniently next to grocery stores, UTC (a shopping mall), and the campus shuttle.
