This is an intensive course that introduces you to the foundations of immunology. This is a course that is available to both undergraduate and M.S. candidate graduate students as well.
One of the best things about this course was the ability to tie in basic immunology knowledge to current aspects that were occurring in the literature in regards to a wide variety of sub-topics in immunology including inflammation biology, genetics in antibody formation, and flow cytometry.

Advice for students:
Contact the TA's or even Dr. Lu himself if you ever feel that you are struggling. The TA's have had a rigorous training in immunology and they themselves are usually graduate students or PhD candidates who have a passion for immunology just as strong as the faculty member himself. Be sure to take time to thoroughly move through the material and understand experimental design well in the power points as well as it will help you succeed in class.
