Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Love the way Professor Cooper teaches and how much she makes the class interesting. While in class, the positive energy and her passion for biology can be felt.

    Course highlights:

The one thing that blew my mind was when we learned that animal cells actually come from the plant cells. How the Mitochondria decided to eat the chloroplast at one point in life and that's how we got photosynthesis going.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to the lecture and if for some reason you end up skipping, make sure you listen to the podcast. This will help a lot during midterms and the final.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was an incredible course as it integrated evolutionary biology with my current knowledge of science, yet did not disregard the importance of faith. Furthermore, learning about current issues with our climate allowed for a knowledge that is very applicable for daily use.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about species interaction. The most powerful experience that really stemmed greater than this class, which was taking on the challenge of this college biology class and realizing how studying and consistent effort really allows for one to fully absorb the material. The professor was incredible and really engaging as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study as much as you can, and share your knowledge with your peers--you will learn it yourself more and further teach others about the beauties of science.
