    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I truly recommend this class because Art History, if taught right, can be so interesting to learn and this professor does it tremendously. She never looks at notes, so what she says in the lecture is what she truly knows, and she does not make it boring at all. The class covers a vast array of art, so you are pretty much guaranteed to find at least one era interesting.

    Course highlights:

My favorite was learning about the impressionists era and becoming knowledgeable about the background information of that time and what influenced artists and their work. Some people may not have liked her testing format, but I liked the free response aspect because it was a true test of your knowledge and your ability to apply it in your writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use study blue to make your flash cards because they allow you to put images. Also, at the end of each week add the art pieces she goes over to your stack and spend 20-30 minutes memorizing them and those of the weeks before, it saves you the stress of cramming. If you pay attention to similarities and differences she points out in class, it helps a lot when writing your essays and short answers.
