The antibiotic sections of the course were particularly interesting as we learned the significance behind antibiotic production and how tests results may actually be inconclusive due to the finicky nature of microbial strains.

Read the laboratory manual carefully and ask questions. Don't be afraid to say "I don't know" to her questions, because often times, the results of tests are inconclusive so "I don't know" is the correct answer!
