    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Passionate professor who's care for the subject shows in the quality of her lectures

    Course highlights:

An appreciation for west african and oceanian art, particularly how to appreciate them the way their creators and those who functionally used the pieces intended them to be appreciated.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Critically think about the material after each lecture and setup a schedule to review your notes after each class. DON'T SKIP THIS CLASS, go to each lecture and take notes THE WHOLE TIME. Also, approach the class with an open mind, don't let your western understanding of art hold you back from gaining all this class has to offer.
