    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This course is necessary to understand why our society and institutions work the way they do. You learn about the socially constructed Ideologies that are embedded in the history of the Unities States. After taking this class you will start to view the world through different lenses. Dr. Mariscal makes the class engaging and comprehendible. He loves to make his students laugh, even though the course topics can be very serious at times.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the history of the United States from the point of view of Black, Irish, Jewish, Chinese, Japanese, and many other groups of people who were dehumanized and forced to accumulate into the american society.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    The only way you will get the most out of this class, is if you keep an open mind. What you learn here will help you socially in any professional field you endure. There will be a lot of reading material, make sure that you keep up because it will help you with the writing assignments and the final.
