Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class allows students interested in music, futurism, and production to tap into their creative senses they've been dying to release and put into projects!

    Course highlights:

The highlight was the use of a music production program to create a soundscape with a group of my friends! During presentation day he said ours was his favorite! Major highlight!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Readings aren't so necessary. Just go to class and listen up! Also only some, SOME, TAs test you on the readings so it isn't too bad.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is really cool because it focuses on the future and music. If you enjoy music and producing it, it's a creative wonderland! You get the opportunity to share how you see the future either in a soundscape or video, so get as creative as you want. A bonus: the writing assignments are too bad, definitely doable!

    Course highlights:

Creating soundscapes were the highlight of this course. I've learned how to understand and appreciate the sounds around me. Plus I've also learned how to use a music producing software I've been wanting to use! *Another bonus*

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to use writing resource centers when writing or going over your papers, it really helps! Literally a free A if you put in the slightest effort!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great way to have a deeper understanding of music and its purpose to use sounds that entail meaningful messages and themes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was writing an essay whose mere focus was to analyze how sounds can convey different perspectives of the future. I learned that the use of airy and aggressive sounds are repeatedly used in themes of futurism as a way to narrate the outcome for humanity.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must do the readings to have a profound understanding of music; doing this will help you be successful in writing and in engaging during lecture.
