Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class really showed me a new form of writing that I knew nothing about nor had ever worked with and allowed me to reach further into debate style writing and informative papers.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to create a multimodal composition project using a TED talk and pictures

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to have several projects and minimal time to complete hem but if you organize your schedule right and give yourself enough time to work on assignments you will do fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was great at giving advice, and it was fun to talk to you about things to write. She also wasn't too strict with certain assignment requirements as other professors have been, I would recommend her to anybody.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to add my own personal style to an essay to bring it to life, and not just how to write an essay for anybody. I learned there were all sorts of forms for writing essays such as informative and persuasive , but also that to make them interesting you got to know who you are speaking to, that is to say who your audience is.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you listen carefully to Jamie's advice, you can write amazing essays. I would also advise not to make essay sound jargon or like it was for anybody, it is important to know your audience and I also know what facts are true or not , in other words do not use Wikipedia, I didn't but others did and got marked for it. Jamie does not like that, but she does like when you put effort into your work to make them sound more personal.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was an easy class but still challenging enough to keep me engaged the whole time!

    Course highlights:

I got to enjoy working on a project that interested me and also learn while doing it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you start your Real Purpose Project way ahead of time.
