Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Loved my instructor and how she taught the class. She used real life and picture boards to help us learn the different parts of the body and brain.

    Course highlights:

I learned more than I ever thought I would. Learned about every bone in the system, what is does, organs and the digestive system and how that works was my favorite along with the brain.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Study, use flash cards and tutoring if need be. Memorization is key to this class!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a great class. It provided a detailed view of the human body and broke down all of its body systems.

    Course highlights:

The lab portion of the class involved realistic views of the body systems (this was an online course) whihc allowed the student to view the organs and systems from different angles. One part that I found very helpful was that it took the organs and allowed you to view it in layers so as for the brain and even allowed the student to select to see how blood and other fluids flowed throughout the body. As for the memorization portion of it, there were a lot of crossword and vocabulary match up type of assignments that also helped me to commit the information to memory.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Utilize WebMD and the Kids Health websites to assist with better explanation of things that maybe confusing. For example the circulatory system has always been a tricky system to remember, by using the KidsHealth.org site it explains it in lay terms that are easy for kids to understand. I love that site it saved me a lot of time and helped my grades tremendously.
