Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for any doctoral student starting out because it gives you experience with analyzing and interpreting scholarly articles, which is a key skill needed I'm all future classes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for the couse were that I was able to choose my own educational issue to research which led me to finding my topic for my dissertation. I learned how to analyze and synthesize scholarly reviews much more adeptly with a topic I was interested in and am currently teaching.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students considering this course would be to pace yourself. Even though some assignments didn't seem so daunting in the description, most did take quit a bit of time due to the need to research a number of relevant articles, read and interpret the readings, and then to write the paper.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because scholarly writing is a beast and if you are not sure what it is, how to do it or how to succeed at it, this class helps a lot!

    Course highlights:

I learned the difference between narrative writing and scholarly writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the class seriously and take all feedback with a grain of salt and use it to make yourself better at what you do.
