    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a great introduction to the connections between the environment and society, the underlying power relations etc. There are some really interesting discussions, films and lectures as well. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who is even slightly interested in the environment and the impact it has in the community.

    Course highlights:

    1. Interesting lectures and presentations. Eye-opening. 2. Powerful films that offer a lot of information and different view-points. 3. Very engaging discussions about everything from power relations and politics to impact of socio-economic status and exposure to environmental hazards. 4. Lots of opportunity to gain more knowledge on environmental organisations and what is happening in the environment right now. 5. Helpful and insightful answers to questions asked.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is better to do the reading but the professor does talk about it in class sometimes. Try and get an early start in the final paper. Try and update yourself about things currently happening in the environmental, political world. It is helpful to be actively involved in class.
