Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was really interesting, and also very well taught--especially for a lecture class of 150+ students. Dale has an exceptional way of keeping the class engaged.

    Course highlights:

Dale's slideshows made it really easy to learn; he often had a short video clip to illustrate each new concept, which both kept the class interesting and interactive and helped students to better understand the material they were learning. This class covers a wide variety of basic communication concepts, which are often very applicable and useful to every day life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Dale gives super detailed study guides and practice tests, so use them!! It's hard to fail the tests if you properly use the study materials he provides. Quizlet is a great online tool for making flash cards with the vocab words he gives you. Also, do the reading--the times that I lapsed on the reading or skipped it altogether, I fell seriously behind and had a hard time catching up or doing well in the class. It's worth the time.
