Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Our teacher was very helpful and was able to provide her own experiences. This course taught us so many new skills and techniques to help us better provide care for our own patients. I was terrified of going into clinical, but this class helped teach me the things that I needed to know before I went to my first clinical.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much from this course about how to help and how to treat my patients. Everyone is an individual and should be treated that way. Everyone has their own beliefs and it is very important to respect those beliefs and honor their wishes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the chapters and study. Prepare for the exams and do not try to cram the information the night before the class. Pay attention in class and do your homework on time. You get what you put into the class, so make sure to do your own work and to work hard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course with this professor because she goes in depth and answers all of your questions in an easy way to understand. She really helped me understand my role as a nurse.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the lab and clinical experiences. I really got to see the hard work and dedication that it takes to be a nurse.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend doing the reading and asking questions. Also, do not be afraid to get into the labs and clinicals and do as much as you possibly can. You learn so much more when you are engaged.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a great class to begin my college career in nursing! I learned all the basics and had plenty of time to ask questions and learn. We had many different experiences some hands on and some through learning in class that prepared me well for the college experience ahead of me.

    Course highlights:

I loved doing clinicals for the first time and working with patients as a new nursing student!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a must for nursing, and is a great class to begin with.
