    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although this class was an accelerated course with advanced topics related to economics, it was really helpful to have the help of course hero in further explaining unfamiliar topics and providing new examples to help me better understand what information I needed to include in my weekly assignments.

    Course highlights:

How to understand economic terminology and economic definitions pertaining to decisions made by managers, calculate profits and profit maximization in order to determine the optimal price and output at which firms should produce. How to understand various market structures and their impacts on firms, consumers, and government policies. How to demonstrate my knowledge of concepts including the supply/demand relationship, price ceilings and floors, market surpluses and shortages, elasticity, consumer choice, utility, productivity, and nature of costs.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you plan ahead and give yourself time to work through the weekly assigned problem sets. They will take longer than anticipated!
