    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

For students who want to study the bible and learn how to interpret it, this class is perfect! In the course, the Old Testament is broken down and context is given for each situation depicted in the stories. The context is key for helping people understand the meaning of what was written, and how to apply it to modern situations.

    Course highlights:

To be honest, I don't remember much from the course because I wasn't super invested. One thing I do remember is that the Old Testament banned people from eating shrimp because they feed off of dead animals (God wants us to eat things that are pure).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To be honest, paying attention in this class isn't completely necessary, because the professor uploads each power point lecture to blackboard after class. Just download all of the lectures, study them, and you'll be fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very fun to attend. I looked forward to it every time I had class. the professor taught the class about the Old Testament by telling us the text as a story, rather than just reading the text. this really helped in the translation of the Bible.

    Course highlights:

I learned many stories of the Old Testament that I did not know before. Along with that, the class was filled with laughs and love. I still miss going to class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't spend the course distracted on your computer or your phone. Enjoy the Old Testament, ask questions and bond with the class. Be involved.

I gained a stronger belief for some of the more foundational events of my faith. I also gained useful knowledge concerning how to read and interpret the scriptures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions, stay awake, read the book, and most importantly pay attention.
