Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to someone who doesn't now the fundamentals in drawing or is lacking in current ability.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to correctly sight and measure objects so I can transport a 3d object onto paper. I was also taught how to draw in black and white with charcoal before moving onto color. This course also gives fundamentals in drawn perspective in regular objects.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open to learning new ways of doing things and be open to sighting and measuring from live objects and not using photographs.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Besides the fact that it is a required course, I think that it was a very educational experience for me. Most of what I know about art is based off intuition, but this course taught me so many technical tools that I would never have known before.

    Course highlights:

I learned tons of new techniques to help me draw and compose better. Before this course, I had very little awareness of the importance of composition and there are several tricks I learned that have helped me tremendously since.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you give your all to each assignment. Also, make sure that you regularly complete the assigned sketchbook pages, because they add up really fast and before you know it, you're overwhelmed.
