    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it as an easy elective course for any freshman in college. I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of friends to start group studies for upcoming exams which made the class very interesting. Majority of this particular class had students who were majoring in theatre.

    Course highlights:

This theatre class was relatively easy and I learned a lot about different genres of theatre. My classmates did not take this class serious and ended up failing only because they did not show up to class or pay attention when attending. However, if you ask questions and take notes, read and study anyone could pass with an A.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please make sure tonpaybattention to the teacher when he lectures and take very good notes. The teacher gives answers to future exams if you pay attention thoroughly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a really nice class to take. The subject matter (stage and theatre types and such), at least for a non-theater major, was a bit boring, but Professor Abarbanel more than made up for it. I don't think I've ever encountered a Professor so passionate about his class before.

    Course highlights:

This was a pretty thorough course. It went a lot more in depth than I expected. It covered everything from Oedipus, to stage set up, and costumes. The best part about the course is definitely the mandatory play viewings. It's really great to see the things covered in class, come to life during a performance.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read before class. Professor Abarbanel is not above randomly calling on people to answer questions.
