Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love history and this class was all about history. The professor was also very revved up about history which made his classes very engaging and interesting. I liked the comparison of Asian culture to American culture as well as our systems of government. There were so many things that I learned outside of my major that I did not expect to learn.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that I could write about stories in history and analyze them using the information from my other courses. His class made my other classes make more sense. Having this historical context to brainstorm from helped me understand concepts in my other classes that I didn't fully understand. I also liked the break that this class gave me from all the hectic information I was being bombarded with in my other classes. His teaching style made it as if he was telling stories to us and I could easily understand it. It allowed my mind to relax and with having 4 classes and going to work full time I needed this break in class time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to take great notes or bring a voice recorder because he will tell you stories that you should remember and cite when you do papers for him. He wants specifics and he wants facts to back up what your opinion is. Make sure you cite your sources well and do not plagiarize or do papers as a group, he will find you!
