    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great class! It's a basic overview of nutrition, but you get a lot of information to take away. You learn a lot of practical things about vitamins and macronutrients and lifestyle factors that impact your health. It's not too heavy of a workload either, and the readings were really accessible.

    Course highlights:

Straughan is a great teacher. She's a dynamic lecturer and you can tell she is really passionate about nutrition. Her office door is literally always open, and she is so easy to talk to. I enjoyed doing the food tracking assignment. It motivated me to keep on tracking my food and checking out what nutrients I am (not) getting regularly in my diet.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading and take good notes. It's not a difficult class if you pay attention. If you're not sure what details are important, just ask the TA or professor.
