    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a Physical Chemistry course part I , which is designated for biochemists. The reason I recommend Chem 340 is that it is requirement for Biochemistry major and very good choice for Chemistry and Biology majors. Also, it is a very good preparation for MCAT and PCAT.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that it teach deep side of thermodynamics laws. I learned a lot of facts from the deep study we did , for example we were taught that delta G must be negative in order for reaction to be spontaneous, however this course taught us change in total entropy must be positive in order for reaction to be spontaneous and that positive change in total entropy it makes delta G negative.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Snee is a very thoughtful professor . Everyone takes the course with him should follow up lecture by lecture and watch his videos and repeat every single one at least three times and do all the homework. Most importantly, every one should attend his office hours if they have time because they are almost additional lectures.
