    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Bio 1013 Anatomy and Physiology II is one of the most challenging courses I have ever taken. The course requires hours of reading, doing assignments and posting. But the longest part is the reading. i would suggest to take notes within the online textbook and highlight as much as possible. Read all the lectures and research subject matter.

    Course highlights:

I love the medical field and have already had Anatomy and Physiology through a tech school. But I felt the refresher was a point of no return for me. You see, this course not only refreshed what I had learned before but it also put a deeper passion in my heart for the medical field and lit a fire within my soul to reach for my goal of becoming a doctor of medicine.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for hours of reading and studying. This course is no easy task and requires discipline and diligence in what you are studying. Keep in my mind the quizzes each week and utilize google to help answer those questions. But most importantly, don't give up. It's hard but well worth the outcome-which is deeper knowledge and amazing instructors to help you become successful.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Delbove is concerned that her students get as much out of her Anatomy & Physiology classes as possible, especially those in Anatomy & Physiology II. She has set tutoring hours but is willing to work around a schedule convenient to the student.

    Course highlights:

The flow between anatomy lecture and physiology lab was seamless. Whenever possible, Dr. Delbove provided hard copies of information in a fun interactive format which allowed her students to learn new material easier. The Punnett square project with marshmellow creatures was very entertaining.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

South University offers tutoring for those wanting to improve their grades. South University also offers workshops to enable students to improve their study skills. These classes are amazing! Even though I have good study habits, going to the workshops allowed me to see things in a new light and was most helpful!
