    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for a fellow student interested in accounting. Not only is this course a requirement it is also a great introduction into the world of accounting. The array of information I gained throughout this course has prepared me tremendously for future classes. My instructor went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that students were learning the information in a way that would ensure success later in life.

    Course highlights:

The most important things I learned while taking this course dealt with financial statements. I learned how to read and understand the information on balance sheets, income statements, shareholders' equity, and the statement of cash flows. These four financial statements are very important when it comes to accounting, especially when dealing with the finances of a company.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is imperative that you read and take notes! Reading is fundamental and knowing the material when it comes to discussion questions will ensure your success in the class.
