This class was tough.
This course is VITAL to any medical field profession. It lays the ground work for your knowledge in each area of study in the medical field. Dr. Suescan was an incredible teacher and truly cared about each one of us and our success. She challenged our minds and I would highly suggest that if you do take A&P at South University of Tampa you choose her. Like any good learning experience, her class is difficult, however that is the reason I ended the quarter with the knowledge I have. I feel confident to start my Physical Therapy program now that I have learned the basics of Anatomy and Physiology.
I learned a TON in this course. A&P 2 focuses on the Heart, blood, vessels, male and female reproductive systems, urinary, digestive and endocrine systems. I think the highlight of this course was being able to get hands on when dissecting the heart, a pig and a kidney. I especially enjoyed learning more about the heart.

Advice for students:
Flash cards and study groups were my saving grace!!!! Study groups in the library are highly recommended. And stay ORGANIZED, I cant stress that enough. During lectures make sure you have plenty of paper and take tons of notes. Dr. Suescan will emphasize the important things to remember by her tone so pay attention. Utilize her tutoring's, they will be VERY beneficial to your exams. Lets just say I ended bother her lecture and lab with an A in each and I used all the information I just provided above.
