    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Medical Terminology was very helpful with spelling, pronunciation and medical term development. This course taught me different medical terms by pre-fix, root and suffixes and allows you to pinpoint an area of the body and the diagnosis by combining the specific word parts. (UNRELATED: The word DEPARTMENT on this page is spelled incorrectly!)

    Course highlights:

I was able to identify all body parts with their medical term and also identify different issues and diagnoses using specific words and word parts.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention to your professor. Take extra care in doing the homework and create flash cards to help memorize all the terms. This was a huge factor in helping me retain information for testing.
