Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because even though it is geared for Health Services Management I was able to learn many concepts that can be applied towards personal finance. I learned how to take the proper steps towards making informed decisions on choosing the appropriate projects as well as investments. One very important concepts I learned was Comparative Data in where an analysis is made in order to determine how a company, organization, or department is doing.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course gave me a clear understanding on how to improve financial decision making, the importance of having financial management knowledge even when you are not a financial manager. Sources of capital is important and the difference of sourcing between profit companies and not for profit. Time value of money is as important, because of inflation money does not have the same value in the future as it does now..

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep and open mind when working through concepts in order to grasp completely. Another great advise would be to try and apply each concept to personal life and finance as it is easier to understand a concept when we can see it work in our favor or to our benefit. Once placing current examples in each concept I was able to work though the course with better understanding.
