    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Through personal experience and a foundation of education, Professor Robertson has been a mentor and a wonderful guide to follow through this educational experience. Statistics is a difficult subject for many people because of its math nature. We focused on the practical and applicable aspect of statistics. I found myself wondering about statistical applications in my everyday life that I had never contemplated prior to taking this course. I highly recommend this program to those looking for more practical statistics in their business and life.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to analyze the business money flow. We learned about normal curves and we calculated story problems to practice finding the mean, median and mode of the data sets. We also learned about presenting data in various forms through excel, pie and bar graphs. This was a great way to learn about how the representation of data can lead people to see things in a certain light.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to learn and open to working with math in a way that is not intimidating. This course will require a lot of work but also be very rewarding and provide practical knowledge. You will learn how to calculate a lot of things that will be helpful for being in a management position one day. These skills can also be very useful for analyzing the success of marketing strategies.
