    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is hard to understand and doesn't relay information easily to her class, however study groups and tutors make this class a lot easier.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better knowledge of the elements and chemical compounds. I learned to calculate percentages and amounts of different elements that made up a certain solution. This class made me think and challenged my math skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get help if you feel at all that you are behind. Meeting with a tutor and really help to better understand the subject. If at all possible to get a different teach than Mrs. Champion definitely do so. Take time to study the notes and practice the story problems often.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I left the course with an overall better understanding of chemistry that will stick with me throughout my career.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the professor, as well as the lab portion. The professor was very understanding and also answered questions thoroughly. The lab protein increased my knowledge of the subject.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must practice outside of class time to succeed in this course. There is no getting around it. If you put in about an hour of reading/practice per chapter, you will do well.
