    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not have taken this course, if it was not required. However, I have glad I did. I learned so much from Dr. Gavino. For example, I now know why I am lactose intolerant, I do not have enough enzymes in my stomach to break down the lactate.

    Course highlights:

The areas I learned the most, was the games. We were assigned different sections of the chapters, and were to make a game with questions from the study guide. Our group had Biodiversity, vertebrates and invertebrates. We played the Family Fued, in a power point download with full action and sound playback. The test scores over this section (according to Dr. Gavino) normally very low. The class averaged around 80%, Dr. Gavino was very impressed and asked to keep a copy of our game.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you schedule yourself time for the out of classroom studies you must do.
