Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is a good course in Electricity and Magnetism. Also, Mr. Portscheller is concerned that his students are learning well.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge about electricity and magnetism. Also, Mr. Portsheller would show videos periodically which helped maintain our interest.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do what the professor tells you to do including home work and seeking assistance from him when you don't understand the subject.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you have to take this course then by all means take it. If not don't because Dr Mellendorf does not excel in classroom teaching. He struggles with keeping his students engaged and he is a really tough grader. If you have to take him make sure you talk with him one on one. He can help you well with one on ones.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about electricity and magnetism. I learned that through electromagnetic induction, we now have traffic lights. I also learned that there are electric fields everywhere in the universe, no place is void of and electric field.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you consult the professor because he knows what he's talking about. Also do as much reading as you can. Chegg seems like a cheat but it will help you as well with explanations

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course will change your perspective of the world. Knowing that there are electric fields everywhere makes you notice things that you didn't notice before.

    Course highlights:

I learned the different characteristics of fields, whether they be electric or magnetic. I also learned a lot about circuits.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the teacher for help! Unfortunately he isn't the best classroom teacher but going to him one on one will teach you so much! He is most likely the smartest man on the campus.
