    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because Dr. May is willing to teach every student that comes to her room. She knows that every student learns differently and she works with it. She does packets that help with students that read the instructions to learn. She does demonstrations in class and online for all her students to read. And lastly, Dr. May won't give up on a student. She will do what she can and try to help the student the best she can. I learned a lot from her, and her tips helped me out so much.

    Course highlights:

I am a big math fan, meaning I love math of all sorts. I can understand most of it quickly. When I got into stats, I wasn't learning as fast as I would. Dr. May was sweet, and she helped me study for the tests. After some time I started to learn faster, and each day I left the class room with a smile. What I gained out of the class was that even if you are doing your favorite subject, it still could be hard and someone is there to help. Dr. May helped a lot, and she is the kindest person you will meet in the math world in Delhi (that I know of so far).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give, always do the homework and don't be afraid to start a conversation. Out of each day of her class (I had her Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), Dr. May assigned around 50 different home assignments during the semester, but only collected 11 of them. Even after she collected them, she still gave homework, but it was for practice. She had office hours for anyone, and not many people would show. She helps more problems than just math problems. She helped me with some problems I was having and I know she helped many other students as well.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this course while being enrolled in High School through an online program. I would recommend it but the work load is intense. There is a lot of information that you need to be able to teach yourself. The videos help but branching off and truly understanding the information is necessary to get a good grade. In all I would Recommend it to another student.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was finding out that the woman who made the instructional videos was actually a friend of mine. The voice really sounded familiar and one day I realized that it was indeed the voice of a woman who lives in the same town as I do. It was definitely a weird coincidence. This course taught me the introduction to statistics and how statistics are used in so many careers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend Student who take this class set aside time to study the material and then set aside more time to complete the assignments. I found it necessary to study the material so I knew I truly understood it before I went into the assignments. An hour a day and sometimes more was what it took for me to be successful in Statistics.
