This course has been fabulous. I had no idea just how much I would be learning about both Chinese and Western Nutrition Therapy. I am practicing many new things from my learning in this very valuable class.
Some highlights from this course are: learning about the thermal energy and value of foods; how different foods react in your body depending on how your body is feeling (Yin or Yang deficient or in Excess); How foods have different levels of energy in them, for instance Ginger is very warming and watermelon is very cooling. We can use foods to treat illnesses and to aid in many conditions in the body. What we eat is vital to the overall health of our body, mind and spirit.
