Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great class discussions would be the main thing I would say about this class, everyday there is thought provoking conversations . Anybody who doesn't really like to talk that often will mostly be a little more comfortable after completing this course because of the different ways you can break down the readings and the books in the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course consisted of "aha" moments, and ultimately the ways others may think about a particular topic or statement someone said. If anything the one thing you will learn from this course is that it's better to be open minded and listen to others opinion so that it can make you argument stronger (not that you will be debating every class).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The one tip that I would give students planning on taking this course is to participate in the class discussions, if not the flow of the seminar won't be as smooth and also it could harm your grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Mislin encourages everyone to participate during class, and he accepts everyone's opinions. Also, there are only three papers to write, in addition to the readings and three online posts.

    Course highlights:

We learned about Socrates, the Bible, and books that depict different cultures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the assigned readings and participate even minimally. You can skim through the readings. Also, try to write strong essays.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because while it is easy in the aspect of reading the material, it allows for engagement and mind stimulation in the areas of common thinking.

    Course highlights:

In the beginning of the semester, some students who had taken the class before me told that it was a difficult class. I learned to not believe everything I heard. I also learned that as long as you do your best, everything should fall into place.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for them would be to do the readings and try to make sure to say something in class...Anything. No answer is the wrong answer.
