Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you learn a lot about not only your body but about what goes on in the world as far as sexuality goes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was when we learn how women have fought to have rights over what to do with their bodies.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give would be to take notes in class, as well as read the articles the teacher assigns.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Nitasha was a great professor. She provided her students with excellent knowledge on all subjects, and was fair when it came to grading. The class itself was very open. Students were able to ask questions or share personal stories without feeling embarrassed or judged.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learned about the anatomy of sexual organs, sex positions, masturbation, prostitution, LGBT community, paraphilia, and other various topics relating to human sexuality. The most popular topic would most likely have been the masturbation topic. We were able to watch a man actually masturbating. It made some people uncomfortable but majority of students found it interesting and a comical relief. In this course, students are able to dive deep into the world of sex and our emotions relating to sex. We also talked about societal views on each topic and and what it means to be body positive and sex positive.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is very interesting and I recommend it. It is a Gen.Ed. course, so you do not need to be a psychology major to take it. People of all majors take this course. It is a lecture course, so you need to be prepared to be in a classroom of 200 students or more. The class consists of slideshows on the topics and students asking questions and sharing stories. It is important that you participate to earn participation skills. Make sure to attend all classes and study a few hours each night in preparation for exams. There are two major exams and a final project. If you ever need assistance for exams or the projects, I strongly recommend attending office hours. She is very easy to talk to and extremely helpful. If you study hard, pay attention, and participate it is very easy to receive a good grade. Other than that, enjoy the class!
