    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class uses video games to talk about philosophy and social construction, as well as using psychology to analyze the different ways that video games teach us about the world around us and how the world around us influences the video games that are produced.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of the course were in-class activities and Pecha Kuchas on various topics in the video game world. I learned topics such as the hero's journey, what makes a villain, and how race and gender are portrayed in video games and how that influences our opinion of those races and genders.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep your mind open to discussion and don't be too overly sensitive about a topic, even if it is very personal to you. Everyone has their own opinions.
