Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The worked examples in the lectures, the discussion questions, the homework fully prepared you for the exams. Any questions were promptly answered by the professor within 24 hours or less.

    Course highlights:

The lectures are very thorough and have worked examples that are very relevant to the discussion questions (graded) and homework (graded)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the lectures thoroughly and do the sample worked problems in the lectures. The discussion questions, homework and tests follow the same format, with different numbers and the level of difficulty up one notch.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The homework, quizes and discussion questions are all geared toward the same materials that are on the tests and the final exam. His course notes/lectures were very thorough and the worked examples explained things in minute details.

    Course highlights:

Never had I had a course in abstract algebra. This course taught me as to why the axioms and principals of algebra are the way they are.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the lecture notes thoroughly. Memorize the templates that he gives for proofs. Follow the homework and discussion questions exactly.
