    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The reason why I recommend this course is because the instructor Stacy Smith is very challenging. The reason for her Talent is that she actually allows you to download forum within your assignments that you need to fill in and submit. It's just like working in a medical office. She teaches you the do's and don'ts of medical law and the consequences that could follow if any mistakes are done.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is paying attention to HIPPA forms. What I have learned is that you must always protect the patients privacy at all times, such as paperwork and electronic data entry. All patients information is just as valuable as your own. You must think of it as giving your social security number to someone over the phone.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice that I would give to students in this course is make sure you set aside additional study time always find quiet and noisy environments. Always pay attention to instructions that are given. Also, before you post your discussions always write them out first, second type it out on a Word document and make sure it is free of any errors and spelling, and last post it to the discussion board. Make sure you always interact with classmates and give helpful advice to the responses the class is discussing for that week and always stay on the topic of discussion.

Yes I would recommend this course because Professor Smith replies back quickly to help you understand the course work so that you could turn your work in on time.

    Course highlights:

By this only being my second week through this course I have learned a lot such as the HIPAA Law and how to handle patient charts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every detail very carefully and at least twice to make sure you understand what it is that you are reading.
