    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This English class improved my writing by leaps and bounds. By the end of the course errors within my essay and arguments were nonexistent. Although it was difficult, my professor was very helpful, and she never ceased to make learning fun.

    Course highlights:

One of the main focuses of this course was to self evaluate. We learned to spot punctuation errors such as commas, run ons, and fragments without assistance. We also learned how to write many different types of essay such as process, exemplification, and definition essays.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class, although difficult, is worth the struggle. If you have the chance definitely take this course. Also, the textbook associated with this course is stellar so put it to good use. Even after this class is over, mark the important pages in the book so you can use them as a reference for other classes or test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course because Professor Belaniga gives you stories to read and shows you different strategies on how to analyze and think about your readings. You will learn a great deal of information while taking this course, which will be very helpful for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned about grammar, which was a very big highlight because grammar was never taught well in my other English classes. She went over our readings with us and taught me how to have an open mind when I read stories.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, always stay on task and complete all work assigned before it is due. I would suggest completing the work ahead of time so that you will not get crammed with work and be stressed out.
