Pretty easy, overall.
I wouldn't really recommend it but I wouldn't tell someone not to take it because although I wasn't the biggest fan, some of the things I have learned were interesting, but not interesting enough for me to recommend it.
I learned about the different forms of art which I liked. It also taught me to have a better appreciation for art. For example, we visited the University Galleries and before taking the class I would have walked in there, looked around for maybe 5 minutes an then left. After taking this class, I actually would look at the art and appreciate it rather than giving it a quick glance and moving on.

Advice for students:
To succeed in this course you defiantly have to come to class. Melissa does put the powerpoint online but just copying them teaches you nothing because she talks about things in class that you will not get from the powerpoint. Plus, sometimes she gives in class work so if you miss class you aren't able to make it up. And if its group work, your group can say you weren't there and not give you credit. Also, actually do the quizzes and papers because she is a leniant grader so as long as you try, you will get at least a "B".
