    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was such a great course to take especially if you are still not sure if CSD is the right major for you. This course helps guide you into thinking like a speech pathologist. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested.

    Course highlights:

Definitely the way a child learns to read. This was what I felt stuck with me. It goes into detail on how a child begins to make sounds from an early age and how those sounds turn into meaningful sounds, and that then turns into words. It is truly fascinating to see the improvement one child goes through in a course of their first 5 years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book! Make flash cards even when you think it's easy stuff. The information may sound basic but when it comes time to the test and you have to apply what you have learned, that is when you'll wish you had. Take your time studying. Don'y cram in a weeks worth of material in 2 hours, and expect a good grade, it just wont happen.
