Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is taught very well by an intelligent professor who gives quizzes once a week and the other part of the time explains the main concepts of biology.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic of biology and how to did deeper into analyzing different subjects.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start off with a good grade because the tiny quizzes each week add up after awhile

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very difficult for a normal gen-ed class, but it helped me as a student become prepared for the worst. There were also many opportunities to redeem yourself after hitting a rough patch.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about reproduction in both plants and animals, and our earth including our greenhouse gases. I even learned a little bit of anatomy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to have Jeff, pay attention, go to lecture, and do the extra credit.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because my professor thoroughly explained his lessons, he made it comfortable enough in the class for students to ask questions frequently. I understood most of the lessons because he tied a lot of them to real life examples and situations. Though the lecture was a big class it was easy to adapt to the size and no matter where you sat you could hear him loud and clear.

    Course highlights:

I gained some knowledge of the human body and diseases that are passed how they are passed. One highlight of the class that I will never forget is dissecting a rat, it was a fun experience and now I can tell the difference between a male and female rat.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to buy the clicker for the class to help test yourself with the questions he puts up in class, don't think because the clickers point are small they don't matter because they add up in the long run and will help boost your grade, also pay attention in lecture and especially in lab. I say this because in lab you are working with bacteria and chemicals you want to make sure you know what you are doing to succeed the lab. Don't be afraid to ask for help and you will be fine, also if your grade is falling low they have extra credit available to boost your grade up.
