Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Bill Shields is the only person in the world who can make learning about rocks a thrilling experience. I'm serious. He's an excellent speaker, he tells amazing stories, and conveys the information in a way that's easy to understand. So far, this is my favorite class I've ever taken.
One of the coolest things about the course was when we got to see his rock collection. Now, I know you probably don't see 'rock collection' and 'cool' in the same sentence, but the rocks Mr. Shields has are so colorful and weird looking. You couldn't help but appreciate them.

Advice for students:
Go to class. That's all you need to do to get an A in the class. There's little to no outside work, so going to class almost guarantees you an A.
