    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course had a lot of additional work outside the classroom. There are a bunch of videos you must watch that will help you do good on the quiz given in class.

    Course highlights:

I think the most useful thing I learned from this class was surprisingly not chemistry related. I learned how to write thorough meaningful notes. What I mean by this is I wrote the information in my own words along with helpful side notes to guide my understanding. In previous classes I would only write down what was given to me which had no personal meaning whatsoever, making it harder to memorize the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch the videos and take lots of notes. This is where all the test questions come from.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you're REALLY into science. You'll still learn a lot out of the class whether you're into science or not. Professor Swanson was the nicest professor I'd ever had.

    Course highlights:

The friendly and welcoming class environment in lecture, labs, and tutoring.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It's going to be a lot to grasp on to. As soon as you feel confused or slip, GO TO TUTORING. It'll be a lot easier, I promise you.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed taking this course . The professor is really considerate and is always available for office hours as well as working around your school schedule to meet with you for questions.

    Course highlights:

While taking this Chemistry class I had some review on some material that was exposed to me during my time in high school. However, I was also exposed to new information such as chemical decomposition and molecular mass.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give students considering this course would be that while Zona is expecting you to come into the class with some background knowledge on Chemistry, he is always willing to help when asked. In other words, go to office hours when you struggle and ask questions in class. Your hard work won't go unnoticed .
