i recommend it because it is such a fun class, counts for a math, science and technology GE, and the fact that it is very reasonable to get an A or a B if you put just a little effort in!
at first it's mostly genetics and how it all affects parts of our bodies ++, and then it's everything from cancer, Alzheimer's, sexual identity and orientation, autism and GMO's.

go to all lectures, do all extra credit quizzes and do the study guide before each exam- or at least look through the lecture outlines, they are very helpful.
