Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor taught the course material and taught it well. She really knew her stuff.

    Course highlights:

The major highlights were learning more about the practical uses of accounting rather than the procedures. How to determine the minimum price to set used equipment at, when to discontinue a product line, how to set costs to specific jobs, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and study. While the course itself may seem easy from a cursory glance, several of the concepts you learn at the beginning will return in later lessons. At the very least create a reference chart(s) to condense the important information, equations, and procedures into an easy to study and easy to swallow format. And don't just throw away the chart when your done with it; keep it around for future use if need be.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Solid teaching style but very sarcastic and makes jokes about her personal issues a lot. Moves fast but is clear.

    Course highlights:

Read through lecture summaries and powerpoints before each class to stay ahead of concepts. Time consuming online HW and quizzes due Sunday and mondays before 10:00pm

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read ahead and go to the SI sessions held three times a week for extra help

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor is very, very difficult. Section 2 of the test is worth 55%

    Course highlights:

Totally ignores teaching and gives useless examples and wastes tutorial time.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

And questions are difficult to understand and answer.
