    This class was tough.

It was a great, insightful, class. Terry Baker is significantly brilliant and will keep you questioning on the notions of life and how it applies to everyday linguistics.

    Course highlights:

In this class I learned the deeper understandings and conceptualizations of life and how it applies to our daily use of linguistics and the English language.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open-minded and ready to learn.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this course! I have always loved English, and was delighted that this wasn't a boring English class. We sat in a circle so we could see everyone, and participation was heavily encouraged.

    Course highlights:

Ms. Thompson is a great teacher, who enjoys challenging students. We read aloud in class a lot and watched documentaries. I can never look at football or boating the same way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You don't really need to get the book. We do a lot of reading that is provided and discus that. You should definitely read those. The rest is covered in class. Show up on time! She locks the door five minutes after class starts.
