    Course Overview:

    It is a great foundation for future Accounting and General Business classes.

    Course highlights:

    Accounting 1101 involves learning fundamental basics such as debits and credits with normal balances for asset, liability, and equity accounts. Recording transactions by double entry in a general journal and posting, creating trial balances and periodic financial statements are other foundational information taught in the course.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to read, do assignments and ask plenty of questions.

    Course Overview:

    The teacher is willing to elaborated on the topic to help students better understand. Sanders personal work experience with past companies related to school and aided in training students, and it made discussions more interesting and eye opening.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the terminology of the accounting world . One foundational equation given is assets= liability +equity, and every transaction involves two types of accounts from the equation. Preparation of financial statements and trial balances are also taught.

    Be organized with your time because it helps one study and improve comprehension in needed material . Write down questions and get involve in discussions in class with instructors. This action also aids in comprehension.

    Teacher student interactions were great because discussions related to the instructors personal work experience at times. If one needs more information to understand the teacher is very dedicated and willing to give more elaboration on topic.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the terminology of those in the accounting world and the way books are balanced. The accounting equation liability + Equity= Assets is one foundational fact taught. Every transaction involves at least two of these types of accounts from the equation.
