Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The classwork can definitely be time consuming and very abstract to think about, but it's only doing the basic stuff from Calc I (derivatives and integrals) in multiple dimensions. It feels like it has a lot more practical applications than any other math class I've ever taken.

    Course highlights:

Like Calc I & II before it, this class (commonly called Calc III) teaches you to see all of the different connections between subjects that you have learned in previous years. I would say that this one is particularly important for anyone going into STEM because it focuses largely on three (or more)-dimensional problems, which translate much better to the real world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important thing to do to keep up in this class is to pay attention to what the teacher is saying and to actually do the homework. You won't understand anything if you just use Wolfram or whatever to breeze through the problems. Also, it should go without saying, but you need to have a very firm grasp on trig functions and the unit circle.
