Not too easy. Not too difficult.
If you've ever wondered why different materials behave the way they do or how to choose the best material for the application, this is the class for you!
This class focuses on the interaction between the physical properties of matter and the physical structure of that material. There isn't any math more complicated than logarithms/exponents that will need to be used, so don't worry about that. You will also be introduced to the process of choosing the right material for a given application.

Advice for students:
The professor can sometimes go very quickly through the PowerPoint, so I find it very helpful to bring a laptop with me to class so I can finish copying notes down if he moved on before I was finished writing stuff down.
