    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Foster is truly a genius and helps guide his collegiate students in a way that not only allows them to understand organic chemistry, but which makes them genuinely passionate about its application to so many fields in science and medicine.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deep knowledge of organic cell cycles and the basics of how chemical compounds facilitate life and make up all animals and other creatures on this planet. Of course, the technical material is present as in any other course of this nature. But Dr. Foster (who recently won an award for Professor of the Year) goes above and beyond in bringing students into this micro world.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study in the library or at home--anywhere quiet. Organic chem is very tricky and complex and it is quite easy to lose your place if there are distractions.
